The challenge
The doctors wanted to consult patients from nearby towns and villages who could not travel easily. They were using personal phone calls and WhatsApp video, which made payment, records and prescriptions hard to manage.
Our approach
We focused on patients with basic Android phones and patchy mobile data. That meant a lightweight app, clear Hindi and English labels, and a call screen that adapts to slow connections.
The solution
Patients choose a doctor, pick a time, pay online and upload earlier reports. At the appointment time, both sides join a video call inside the app. The doctor writes a digital prescription that the patient receives immediately.
Doctors manage their availability, see the day's consultations and keep notes for every patient.
How we built it
The patient app is built with Flutter for Android and iOS, the doctor dashboard is a web app, and the backend runs on FastAPI with PostgreSQL. Online payments use a standard payment gateway, and video calls use a secure real-time communication service.
